Tussar silk, also known as Kosa silk, is produced from the larvae of several species of silk worms, mainly found in India, which gives a rich texture to the saree. The handloom weaving involves the manual weaving of fabric using traditional looms, which is a labor-intensive process that results in unique textures and designs. Ikat patterns are created by resist-dyeing the yarns before they are woven into the fabric. Temple borders are intricately designed borders inspired by the architectural motifs found in temples, and add a touch of elegance and grandeur to the saree.
These sarees often feature natural dyes, which are derived from plants, minerals, or other organic sources, imparting subtle shades and tones to the fabric. 

Light yellow and maroon create a sophisticated and elegant color contrast. Light yellow, with its softness and warmth, symbolizes positivity, freshness, and clarity, while maroon, a deep shade of red, exudes richness, depth, and a sense of tradition.
